FINN ALLEN TAKE A BOW! - NZ VS PAK 3rd T20

Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl for the third time in a row this series.

Things didn't start out too great for New Zealand with Devon Conway continuing his poor form scoring 7 off 8 balls getting caught by Muhammad Nawaz off Haris Rauf's bowling.

Tim Seifert came to the crease and the Blackcaps put on a 125-run partnership with Finn Allen leading from the front.

Finn Allen went bang and scored his 2nd T20I hundred and highest T20I score with ease. He was hitting the Pakistan bowlers on good balls and made his inning look effortless. Hitting the 100 off 48 balls is the 3rd least amount of balls used for a New Zealander.

Seifert went not long after scoring 31 runs in the 125-run partnership with Finn Allen. He was caught by Saim Ayub off the bowling of Mohammad Wasim.

Mitchell went not long later for 8 off 5 being caught by Zaman Khan off the bowling of Muhammad Nawaz.

Finn Allen eventually went for 137 the most T20I runs recorded by a New Zealander in one inning, and the highest T20I score at the University Oval in an inning. TAKE A BOW SON!

Mark Chapman went for 1 off 2 getting caught by Mohammad Wasim with the bowling off Haris Rauf.

Mitchell Santner got run out by Mohammad Wasim for 4.

Glenn Phillips was out for 19 after being caught by Saim Ayub off the bowling of Shaheen Shah Afridi.

Henry and Sodhi scored 1 and 3 respectively. The Blackcaps scored 224/7 off 20 overs.

Saim Ayub scored 10 and went early in the inning. He was caught by Lockie Ferguson with the bowling coming from Tim Southee.

Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam put on a 39-run partnership until Rizwan went for 24 getting caught behind by Seifert off the bowling of Mitch Santner.

Fakhar Zaman was next to go for a quickfire 19. He was caught by Santner off the bowling of Ferguson.

Azam Khan went for 10 being caught off another great Phillips catch off Matt Henry's bowling.

Iftikhar Ahmed was run out for 1 by Mitch Santner off a stupid quick single run.

Babar Azam finally got out for 58 after his 3rd consecutive 50. He was caught by Phillips off the bowling of Sodhi.

Muhammad Nawaz was the last to go for Pakistan. He scored 28 being caught behind by Seifert off the bowling of Southee.

Shaheen Afridi scored 16 not out and Mohammad Wasim scored 1 not out. Pakistan scored 179/7 off their 20 overs with New Zealand winning by 45 runs. The obvious Player of the Match was Finn Allen with his impressive knock of 137 off 62 balls.
