Updated: Dec 28, 2023

Central Hinds vs Northern Brave Women

Nat Dodd won the toss for the Hinds and sent her team into bat. Nat Dodd and Hollie Artimage put on a 30-run opening stand until Artimage got caught by Catlin Gurrey. A 2nd wicket 38-run partnership then saw Dodd go for 31. Hannah Rowe came to the crease and got out for 11.

Mikaela Greig then got out for a lacklustre 4 and Newton couldn't find a partner to stick with. However, she went for 33 soon later. Tomlinson and Mair didn't contribute much but Atkinson and Devonshire finished the inning off with a 26 and 10. The Hinds scored 141/7 off 20 overs.

Caitlin Gurrey got a single and didn't last much longer going for 1 off 5 balls. Nensi Patel and Jess Watkin got starts scoring 19 and 22 respectively. Sam Bariball didn't last long scoring 3 off 12. Eimear Richardson got runout for 11 and the Brave needed some help.

Marina Lamplough scored 38 off 32 to bring some light into the match for the Brave. However, The tail didn't last long or score much. The Brave lost by 6 runs scoring 135/7.

Central Stags vs Northern Brave Men

The Brave elected to bowl and the Stags made sure it was the wrong call. Will Young went early going for 1 with Tom Bruce opening the batting scoring 16. Will Clark didn't manage much scoring 5. Josh Clarkson scored 31 off 28 and then we were in for a treat.

Doug Bracewell came out to bat with 7 overs left and he smacked everyone. He scored 93 off 33. The highest score at Fitzherbert Park in T20's and he was well on track to smash cousin Michael Bracewell's record set at Pukekura Park if he had another few overs. He was also looking at making the fastest Men's Super Smash 100, with that record being held by Tim Seifert, who did it in 40 balls. Dane Cleaver scored 42 with Small scoring 1. The Stags made 206 for 5.

The Brave started with a poor start with Katene Clarke and Henry Cooper scoring 8 and 15 respectively. Scott Kuggeleijn got 36 off 16 in his 100th Super Smash game until he got out getting caught by Joey Field. Raval went for 16 and the Brave's hopes were banished. The next 5 batters didn't bring up a score over 8.

Until Neil Wagner came in at 10 and blasted 36 off 26 getting caught eventually by Bruce. In the end, Northern scored 150 all out and lost the game by 56 runs.
